Most people who decide to join the Rangers’ Guild in Thamatora need to prepare themselves for a lifetime of rigorous training and defending their city from outsiders. Most people take the time to ponder their decision before giving their lives over to such a cause.

Soren Fjall isn’t most people.

Once Soren became of age, it took him mere seconds to decide upon his future in the Rangers’ Guild, and he swiftly became one of the deadliest warriors, not just in the guild, but in the world. Wielding a rare blacksteel greatsword in one hand and a matching dagger in the other, he uses an extremely unorthodox fighting style to get the edge over any opponent he might face on the field, whether it be humanoid, bestial, or monstrous.

A man of few words, Soren only speaks when absolutely necessary, and only says exactly what is necessary. He is utterly loyal to his values of honestly and integrity, and trusts his city and their leaders, as well as his guildmistress Astrid, with his life. So when Astrid brings an outsider into the city, his loyalties become torn, and he must embark on a journey with her to right her wrongs in the eyes of Thamatora’s laws.

There may come a time, though, where Soren must decide between upholding his values and righteous beliefs, or saving a friend’s life…
