Hi all! For those who don’t know me, or who are new here, my name’s Gabriel and I’m a writer. With my debut novel, Children of the Sun, rapidly approaching completion, I’ve been thinking about what the best way to make myself known to the world would be, in preparation for actually publishing my book.

I decided that a good way to do this would be to take a page out of some artist’s and animator’s books, and do 100 days of art. Specifically, short stories. So, as the title suggests, for the next 100 days (including today), I will be writing and posting one short story each day to my blog, and advertising through TikTok, Youtube, and other social media avenues like Bluesky and Twitter (X).

The stories themselves will be between 250 to 1000 words long, and they’ll make up an anthology-like structure, with each story largely unrelated to any of the others, with a few exceptions and maybe some references here and there to previous volumes. Each story will also be somehow related to the day number, and their titles will be the day number as well. I’ll also put a sub-title which might be a bit more descriptive, just in case you’d prefer to decide what to read based on the content.
