Hi all, just wanted to quickly make sure that the internet knows this site isn’t abandoned and I’m still writing and everything.

So as I mentioned in the previous post, I’m spending my energy working on completing my second draft of Children of the Sun, which is coming along pretty well. I’ve managed to get through 500 pages out of the 600 in the book (it used to be 660 pages, so I’ve removed ~10% of the book, yikes), so we’re 5/6 of the way through! Of course this won’t be the end of the editing process, I still need to go through 2 more times, but it’s the end of the longest part of the process. After this, all that should remain is slight adjustments and fixing up continuity issues (too many characters get up from the ground twice in a row without ever getting back down onto the ground).

I’m going to be giving a copy of draft 2 to some close friends and family for review, so nothing will be released to the public just yet, but I’ll post chapters for reading here and there as a preview of sorts in the future.

I’m pretty excited for the world to finally meet Poppy, Astrid, Magdalene, Ricard and Freed in book 1 of The Forsworn Cycle.
